Made with Flamestretch fabric, the beanie is soft, comfortable and provides superior moisture management. Constructed with DuPont™ Nomex® brand fiber, the first flame-resistant fiber selected for use in military uniforms.
Nomex fibers carbonize and thicken when exposed to intense heat of a flash fire, creating a protective barrier that reduces or prevents burn injuries. When operating in cold conditions, the Flamestretch Beanie is the ideal choice.

This not my first, and with the way i misplace them, it won't be my last. I generally wear the hat with the sides rolled up. I need to keep my bald pate covered up in frozen wastelands of Connecticut. When the wind kicks up the sides roll down enough to cover up the tops of my ears. I really appreciate the thin material a lot more than bulky knot watch caps. And unlike the watch cap I can wear the beanie under my helmet.
