The RVM-14 J-Arm is an all aluminium J-Arm specifically designed to work with the RVM-14. The J-Arm allows for articulation of the RVM-14 without having to raise the helmet mount.
NOTE: This J-Arm will only work with the RVM-14 due to the proprietary mounting interface.
BRIDGE / ARM OPERATION:
- To connect the Arm to the monocular, first ensure that the Latch Screw is fully retracted by rotating it counterclockwise until it stops.
- Slide the Mounting Shoe of the Arm onto the Dovetail Mount of the Mono.
- Engage the Latch Screw by turning it clockwise until it stops. Ensure that the Latch Screw is properly engaged by attempting to slide the Mounting Shoe. It should not move.
- Remove the Arm by retracting the Latch Screw fully counterclockwise and then sliding the Mounting Shoe off of the Dovetail Mount.
- To adjust the pivot tension of the Arm use a coin in either end of the Tension Bolt to tighten or loosen as desired.
